stumbled upon these photos today -- taken with a cheap handicam -- of my now wife E together with my late wife, leading Sunday morning worship. This was taken about ten years ago.
OBSERVATION: At this point, we had introduced pre-service singing in Church with devotional input, and we were raising up new people, such as E (we had a major emphasis on raising up the next generation). We sought then to turn this into a worship
team. But this would not work, due to the instability of city life. We then developed a "free for all" team, which worked very well. Five years after this photo was taken, one would easily have seen ten or more people here, leading the Sunday worship. E herself became a deaconess with the worship portfolio.
