Thoughts On President Trump

Somebody asked me what I thought, when President Trump was elected. I said that he wasn't an institutional man, and it remained to be seen how he would handle that. One finds it in the Church, too. I have two overriding impressions since. Firstly, governments today tend to be repressive, even if they are liberal in name. His election was a reaction to (relatively) repressive government. Secondly, people are seeking to subvert him, not that he hasn't lent them a hand. But this is not a healthy way of dealing with anyone. OBSERVATION: In other words, a lot of this has to do with the people, which is, so to speak, all of the people. I do not understand President Trump, nor am I a fan of his.
