Infinite Loop?

Here's a classic. I contacted the City via e-mail, with a question about vehicle licensing. They referred me to their call centre. The call centre said that I should contact the City via e-mail. I contacted the City via e-mail. They referred me back to their call centre. OBSERVATION: Happily, I found the information in the end, through a different route. The City is, however, clearly having problems communicating with its public. I wonder how many times this would have looped if I had continued to follow their advice.
