E and I return to Cape Town from an extended stay in the south-eastern regions of South Africa somewhat in shock, I think. Shock at the devastation we saw. And the mood of the people was different. No more complaint, just silence, and more silence. I am seeking to make sense of it.
OBSERVATION: I sought a photo which might symbolise what we saw. This is the main window of a community hall which was provided by the European Union. But this is not a more serious example.
